HPI Resources, LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities, and we continue to work on improving it.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site doesn’t yet fully meet this standard, and the limitations we know about are listed below.
Accessibility features
- A “Skip to content” link at the start of each page
- Headings and page regions that describe the structure of each page
- Menus that can be used with a keyboard
- Text descriptions for images
- A pause button on the home page background video
- Reduced animation, and no background video, when your device is set to reduce motion
- Layouts that adapt to different screen sizes
Known limitations
- Contact options: our contact form is currently the only way to reach us through this site, which can be a barrier for anyone unable to use the form.
- Contact form security check: the form includes a Cloudflare security check, provided by a third party, that some people or assistive technologies may have difficulty completing.
- Hover colors: main menu links and the blue home page buttons have lower color contrast while a mouse pointer is over them.
- Image descriptions: some descriptions of photos are general and may not fully describe what the photo shows.
- Third-party content: the YouTube background video and the contact form come from outside services, so we don’t fully control how accessible they are.
- Legacy content: some legacy pages and features have not been fully updated yet.
How we assess this site
This statement is based on our own review of the site, including checks of color contrast, heading structure, image descriptions and keyboard use of the menus. The site hasn’t been independently audited or fully tested with screen readers or other assistive technologies.
